The bottom line
We’re not doing anything sketchy or trying to do anything sketchy. If you use the site, post a comment on a page, send an email, sign up for a news letter – the information that gets stored or used is only for that purpose and is never something we’d sell, trade, give away, or use to manipulate an election. Basically:
- If you use the site, the servers may see the IP address of your computer. We don’t save it and have no idea what to even do with it if we did.
- If you sign up for the newsletter – you’ve entered your name (maybe) and email. We use a service called mailchimp to send the newsletter.
- If you comment on a page (looking at the 3 of you that have :), it connects to Facebook and other services that may display your facebook pic with your comment.
- If you use a form or send an email (cool, thank you!) the email has…your email address and other info in it. We won’t do anything with this info except maybe reply to the email ?
